RUNAWAY DS, BEST CONSOLE ADVENTURE GAME 2007
The least we can say is that Pendulo Studios has made a stunning entry in the console world as their adaptation of Runaway, The Dream of the Turtle has been unanimously saluted by the journalists. Both German and French press were very enthusiastic after playing the game and especially liked the very intuitive stylus gameplay and the use of the DS functionalities.
After excellent reviews on the main websites in France and Germany, www.jeuxvideo.com, www.4players.de and www.onlinewelten.de in which the game scored respectively 16/20, 80% and 85%, the game has just been elected Best Console Adventure Game 2007 by both journalists and players of Germany’s biggest adventure website, www.adventure-treff.de . A prize that rewards the great work achieved by Cyanide, who worked on this DS adaptation, and the innovation of the adaptation, but also to the impressive graphical quality of the game.
